A Destination affiliate website allows you to work in partnership with NVG to fund, manage and grow bookability on websites, enhancing performance and overall financial sustainability.
All booking functionality and commission collection on a website is funded through a commission-sharing arrangement with NVG. This allows you to reduce your up-front investment and overall pressure on resources as well as enabling the trade to contribute on a performance basis towards booking and marketing activities. It provides a booking model that is affordable, financially sustainable and in line with the new government's vision to reduce public sector subsidy.
As a stakeholder in affiliate-funded activities NVG also works actively to improve bookability on websites, growing overall revenue through the system.

Managing signup to website Destination has complete control of publishing to the website using publishing options. This allows you to offer a range of advertising levels to providers (eg Gold, Silver, Bronze) with and without bookability. The only difference is that for a destination affiliate website, a provider has to be signed up with NVG for Guestlink + Affiliates to be able to take bookings. There are two implementation models; in the booking model, bookability is heavily promoted on a website with bookable properties showing above other properties and bookable properties often pay a lower participation fee. In the optional booking model, any property can be bookable provided they are signed up to Guestlink + Affiliates. Conversion to affiliates NVG will manage the conversion of a website to affiliates in partnership with the destination at no charge. This normally involves an email and telephone campaign to notify providers of the change and advise them of the options. A range of tools are available in DC.Net for monitoring and predicting income from an affiliate destination website. Commission The normal commission rate is 10% of booking value (excluding any extras such as dinner) but other commission rates can be supported. Commission is calculated on all bookings except those that are marked as cancelled, no show or declined. Commission is calculated in the month following checkout and payment is collected by direct debit or invoice through NVG's Guestlink Financial System.
