New look Enjoy Staffordshire incorporates microsites
Hot on the (hugely successful) heels of their mobile website and their recently redeveloped trade website, Enjoy Staffordshire launched their all new main website www.enjoystaffordshire.com on 3rd June 2010. Andrea Bowers, Marketing Officer said: "We've worked in conjunction with our external design agency HCL Marketing Communications to provide the fundamental styling and branding design guidelines but NVG have taken these cues and produced a website that far exceeds our expectations. The new content management system is easier to use and we're already making better use of the DMS to highlight the world of possibilities Staffordshire has to offer. One of the key objectives of the project was to bring together a number of existing tactical campaign microsites under one main umbrella website, capitalising upon the Enjoy Staffordshire branding whilst maintaining the integrity of the sub-brands. The Thrill Hopper campaign is a good example of how NVG have helped to achieve this. We're really excited about the Thrill Hopper offer that we're featuring throughout the site and using NVG's e-shop we sold Thrill Hopper tickets on-line within just a couple of hours of the site going live...! We're delighted with the new Great Outdoors map which HCL and NVG have developed, it's a fantastic graphic representation of the rural nature of our county that uses the data in the DMS to showcase just a few of the great things to do and places to visit, and content managed sections to highlight walking and cycling opportunities... Even the 'little' things like the ability to look for accommodation, attractions and events in one clever search tool really add to the useability of the site..."

Natasha Shah, the NVG web integrator responsible for the build said: "We've changed the technical specification of the new Enjoy Staffordshire site to allow it to work more efficiently and provide significantly increased scope for extra functionality. A great example of this can be seen on the new custom built interactive map which Andrea mentioned, which allows the site user an easy method of locating activities available in Staffordshire including things to do and places to go. In addition, the site has a whole fresh new look giving the site a softer and more contemporary style and, from a practical standpoint, the work we have carried out on the site architecture will help with SEO and allow for better usability."
